After looking in Manhattan for several months and having dealt with many other brokers, it was super refreshing to find a broker who was so accommodating and helpful. Jonny made us feel like a priority, he welcomed all of our questions and was always quick to get back to us. On top of that, he was willing to speak directly to the landlord on our behalf when we were faced with a complicated move-in situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was willing to go to bat for us several times throughout the process in order to make sure we felt completely comfortable moving forward and never made us feel as though we were being difficult - even though we definitely weren't the easiest clients. I also felt like I could trust that Jonny was being straight up with us and giving us his honest opinion about every aspect of the process - a super underrepresented quality in the grand scheme of New York apartment hunting.

The REAL New York office is also really nice and in the middle of the LES - a huge bonus for people/groups of girls looking to avoid sketchy hole in the wall real estate companies.

Jonny Borochov was honestly the most helpful person I've ever worked with when it comes to searching for apartments - especially since I had to apartment hunt completely online, which was challenging to say the least. SO much less stressful than previous years (even though I was apartment hunting during a global pandemic), and I'm super happy with both the apartment and price. Not pushy (which is rare in the land of NYC brokers), helped me waive the fee for this apartment AND negotiate the price down, and was very friendly and quick to respond. I never write reviews, but genuinely recommend you reach out to Jonny if you need help finding an apartment that fits your needs in a price range you're happy with. If I move again I definitely will be reaching back out myself!
