Winston Morrissey has lived in New York City since 1998 when he relocated here to facilitate his growing opera career. He was always fascinated with the history of New York City, its unique and dynamic growth, ongoing changes and development. After graduating from Boston University Opera Institute, Winston traveled the United States with the New York City Opera National touring company and over several years sang with opera houses in the U.S. and Europe, but at the same time he always considered New York City his home and looked forward to coming back after each singing engagement.
Winston also holds degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Silesian University of Technology and a Masters of Music degree from the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland.
Winston prides himself on his sincere and personal approach and enjoys helping his clients find the most comfortable and convenient space best suited to them and navigate the challenges of New York City's real estate market. With his background in architecture and design, he brings a unique perspective to the whole experience. Given his European background, and the fact that he's lived in the City for almost twenty years, he's able to well understand and address his client’s needs - whether they’re seasoned New Yorkers or having just arrived and looking for their very first home in the Big Apple.
In his spare time, Winston enjoys discovering new restaurants, live theater and music scenes, international cinema, and continues to sing professionally. Most recently, he has been asked to sing for the President of Poland on three separate occasions; both at the Polish Consulate in New York City and the Polish Embassy in Washington D.C.
